Participation Requirements

PEERS® for Young Adults is the first evidence-based group treatment program for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as other neurodevelopmental disorders and social challenges. Over the course of 16 engaging group sessions via Zoom, this program will cover effective behavioral interventions for young adults in the form of outlines that are both user friendly and backed by empirical research.


Young adults and their social coaches (including parents or other caregivers) attend 16, 90-minute sessions accompanied by homework assignments and practice suggestions designed to reinforce the group's understanding of the skills learned during each session. Skills learned using PEERS® for Young Adults include:

  • Cost is based on UCLA PEERS® Institute's standard rate
  • Total cost of $2000 - due by first week of class
  • ​Private Pay only.

Cost Breakdown

  • Young adults ages 18-35 years old who have graduated from high school and a social coach (parent or caregiver)
  • Participants must be interested in attending the program
  • Consistent attendance for participants (Young Adults and Social Coaches)
  • Voluntary agreement to participate in the program 
  • Reliable internet access and an electronic device with Zoom capabilities
  • Reside in one of the following states: AR; CA; DE; ID; IL; NM; ME; MN; MO; WV
